Founder - Carmel Farnan
Carmel Farnan MBPsS, BSc (Hons) Psychology is also a Psychotherapist and International Mindfulness Trainer. She has had a deep interest in Mindfulness and Meditation since her teenage years, and has developed her own personal practice of Mindfulness since that time. She completed Mindfulness training within her psychology degree and also has completed the Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Programme from the University of Massachussets.
Carmel's life-long passion for Mindfulness led her to co-found national Mindfulness organisations in Ireland, Britain, United Arab Emirates and Canada. Her desire to bring the highest ethical standards to the delivery of Mindfulness courses which are based on the most recent research, led Carmel to form the British Mindfulness Academy, International Mindfulness Academy and the Irish Mindfulness Academy. She is a Member of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and follows their Code of Ethics in the design and delivery of all Mindfulness Courses at the British Mindfulness Academy.
Dr Lisa Greenspan - Mindfulness Trainer
Dr Lisa Greenspan is a chartered Counselling Psychologist (Dpsych). She has worked across all settings, including the Private Sector, Health, Social Services and Voluntary Sector, Forensic settings and Education for over twenty-five years, supporting staff and patients.
Lisa has practiced meditation for many years and continues to include mindfulness in her daily life. She works as a psychotherapist and Counselling Supervisor and has trained to use mindfulness techniques with children, young people and adults, with a special interest in imagery and the use of the body in psychotherapy. As an active researcher, Lisa is investigating the use of mindfulness and other cognitive techniques.
Lisa’s qualifications include MSc Occupational Psychology, MSc Counselling Psychology, Professional Doctorate in Counselling Psychology & Chartered member of the British Psychological Society division of Counselling Psychology, HCPC Registered, Member BACP.
Margaret Forde - Mindfulness Trainer
Margaret Forde is a chartered counselling psychologist, a chartered organisational psychologist and an accredited psychotherapist.
Margaret has a private clinical practice in Ireland for over 30 years and facilitates courses in Meditation, Wellbeing and Positivity and Stress Management for individuals and companies.
Additionally, Margaret has lectured in psychology at masters level in third-level institutions. Her qualifications include:
B.A (Hons Psych), Diploma in Applied Psychology, H.Dip.Ed
Chartered Psychologist, Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI) in both the Division of Counselling Psychology and Work and Organisational Psychology.
Founder, Positive Psychology Ireland.

Linda Keen - Mindfulness Trainer
Linda Keen qualified as a Psychotherapist having graduated from Middlesex University with a first class honours degree (BSc Hons) in Psychotherapy.
She is a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and has been in clinical practice in Ireland and UK since 2001.
Linda has pursued post-graduate training in Mindfulness, NLP, CBT, Life Coaching, Solution Focussed Therapy and Positive Psychology to ensure effective and long-lasting therapeutic results for course attendees.
Linda Land - Mindfulness Trainer
Linda Land is a Mindfulness Trainer who has taught Mindfulness at group and individual level for the past fifteen years. Additionally, Linda is a qualified Life Coach and has been in private practice in Dublin since 2001.
Linda has pursued many trainings in NLP, CBT, Solution Focussed Therapy, Mindfulness and Positive Psychology to ensure effective and long-lasting therapeutic results for her clients.
Linda has recently gained a Professional Training Certificate in the Therapeutic Use of Mindfulness, alongside the completion of an MBSR program from the University of Massachusetts.
Annmarie Kennedy - Mindfulness Trainer
Annmarie Kennedy qualified as a Psychotherapist upon gaining a first class honours degree (B.Sc. in Counselling and Psychotherapy) at Middlesex University.
She has over ten years experience in clinical practice and has pursued professional training in Mindfulness, most recently completing the MBSR training programme from the University of Massachusetts.
Annmarie brings her passion for Mindfulness into all her training courses.
