MINDFULNESS FOR INDIVIDUALS

This course consists of Mindfulness and Meditation practices and is designed for beginners and those who have already begun a Mindfulness practice. The reason why it is suitable for both groups of people is that it is based on the latest Mindfulness research which states that when learnings from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Positive Psychology are introduced alongside Mindfulness teachings then existing problematic thinking styles such as anxiety, stress, worry and sometimes even depression can be reduced and at best eliminated. Once the mind is freer of these existing thoughts then deeper levels of Mindfulness can be obtained, leading to greater levels of emotional and mental well-being.

Course Overview

This one day course teaches key mindfulness skills which you will be able to apply to enhance your personal life. The course content is unique as it is based upon the most up to date research from Neuroscience which states that when tools from CBT and Positive Psychology are combined with Mindfulness the results obtained are deeper and longer lasting. These benefits occur because these tools help address and counteract existing negative thinking styles, such as worry, stress, anxiety, depression which otherwise would continue unchecked and therefore sabotage a person's best efforts to practice Mindfulness. Although the course is primarily dedicated to Mindfulness, the additional CBT and Positive Psychology tools allow attendees learn key skills to establish their own in-depth Mindfulness practice. In this way happiness levels increase, stress levels decrease with an overall improvement in mental and emotional well-being.
